Introduction to the principle of laser triangulation

TSINGBOthe point laser sensor and the line laser profile sensor adopt the laser triangle reflection principle. First, a laser beam is used to irradiate the surface of the object to be measured. The reflected light passes through the optical lens group to form a spot on the surface of the photosensitive element. The positions of the spots formed by the surface reflection at different heights are different. As shown in the above figure, when the detected surface is high, the measuring laser spot position will move to the right; On the contrary, if the detected surface is low, the measuring laser spot position will move to the left.

TSINGBOthe 3D line laser profile sensor is not a point laser light source, but a laser line. The measuring light laser spot is also a line, so it is commonly called line laser. Line laser can also be used for surface scanning to quickly form 3D contours.
